Conspiracy Theories - Zippers Linked to Y2K Conspiracy

If you ever looked at some of your zippers, they say YKK, which is eerily similar to Y2K. But what do zippers have to do with the Y2K conspiracies? Well, fabric manufacturers are increasingly being replaced by computers. You can get an automated sewing machine to do the work of numerous human workers. It also removes that "human" error factor.

The clothing manufacturing industry created this hysteria about Y2K to drum up fear of computers and revert back to a human work force. They saw this as an opportunity to get people away from relying on computers for everything.

I actually have two theories about the epidemic spread of this number. Sony could be behind the initial crack and spread of the key. This would benefit them by playing to the movie studios that their format is more secure and not nearly as easy to crack. Sony would lay HD-DVD to rest by taking all of the movie studios over to their format.

Second, the makers of HD-DVD could be behind it themselves. They are already behind in the format war. Why not release a crack, send take down notices to anyone that posts the crack, which will in turn spur more people into posting the crack, spreading the word to everyone, and before you know it, everyone is talking about HD-DVD and that other format is left behind. They know that the crack will be patched, and what little sales they will lose initially, they will make up for ten-fold in the near future. There's no such thing as bad publicity.

Conspiracy Theories - NASA Killed Anna Nicole Smith

I am sure that all of you have heard about the crazed astronaut that drove 1000+ miles wearing adult diapers so she would not have to stop, just so she could kidnap her lover's other lover. Well, it's been the top story everywhere all week, and I'm sure NASA is not thrilled about the bad publicity.

This is purely speculation, but I believe that NASA was part of a plot to kill Anna Nicole Smith. Anna Nicole Smith was assassinated to draw attention away from NASA's psychotic astronaut. I doubt that they will ever be charged for the murder of Anna Nicole, but I for one will not let this go unheard.

Conspiracy Theories - The Three Musketeers

It has come to my attention that these so called "Musketeers" don't even have muskets. Is anyone else bothered by this? I for one cannot stand idly by while such a misrepresentation is allowed to go on unchallenged.

I am not questioning the character of these men, but rather their name, which I believe to be self proclaimed. Without a musket, how can you call yourself a "Musketeer"? These men were swordsmen not Musketeers.

Conspiracy Theories - The BLEEPS

It has recently come to my attention that someone (I have yet to discover who) is relaying messages through *BLEEPS* on television and radio. If you listen closely, many television shows and radio stations use *BLEEPS* as a means for Morse code. Those of you who know Morse code (I don't) may not recognize it at first. This is because the messages are encrypted. There are various encryption algorithms used, one of the simplest in this case is a simple reversal of dots and dashes, making it impossible to recognize to the naked ear.

This was a well thought out method, given that the shows that use innumerous expletives are generally watched by the least intelligent of the general public (i.e. Springer, Reality TV). This has probably been going on for years without notice.

A few possible culprits could be those stupid hippies that run Hollywood. This could be how they forward more of their hippie propaganda, but it is unlikely that they would come up with something so intelligent or that they would pass these messages in secret when they usually have some hippie agenda with each new movie or TV show.

Next on the list is the Bush administration. This is much more likely, not because his intelligence is much higher than the hippies in Hollywood (I voted for the guy, but let's face it, he's a moron, but still better than Kerry). This theory seems more viable to me because the Bush administration has put a stranglehold on media, allowing little to no vulgarity to make it to the airwaves without being replaced by a *Bleep*. Ingenious!
